The present application has been filed seeking extension of interim bail on the ground that the petitioner's father's surgery has now been fixed for 17.02.2020.

The Status Report has been handed over in which, on verification, it has been stated that the patient has been advised PAC checkup before the surgery that is scheduled on 17.02.2020. The same is taken on record. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's father is 75 years of age and the petitioner is the only son and there is no other person look after him.

Learned APP for State, on instructions, confirms the aforesaid position.

In view of the above, the petitioner's interim bail granted on 30.01.2020 is extended by a period of 10 days on the same terms and conditions.

It is made clear that in case the surgery of the petitioner's father is not performed on 17.02.2020, the petitioner will surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent on 17.02.2020 itself and otherwise at the expiry of his interim bail period.
