Respondent No. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by her counsel, Mr. Hasibbudin and Investigating Officer Inspector Satbir Singh, Police Station Jaitpur.
5.
There is no child born out of the wedlock.
6.
Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure ends of justice. The Court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to be prosecuted any further. It is a fit case for quashing. 7.
In this view of the matter, FIR No. 0509/2018, under Sections 498A/ 406/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Jaitpur and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed.
8.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
