This is a petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') seeking quashing of F.I.R No. 770/14 under sections 354/342/380 of IPC registered at Police The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

It is stated that the petitioners misbehaved with the respondent on/around 27.06.2014.

During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at a settlement dated 28.02.2025, wherein the respondent No. 2 has settled her disputes and has stated that she does not wish to prosecute the F.I.R any further.

Both parties state that they have entered into the aforesaid settlement out of their own free will, volition and without any threat, force, undue influence or coercion. It is stated by respondent No.2 that she has no objection if the F.I.R is quashed. 5.
Petitioner No. 1 is present in Court and has been identified by his counsel, Mr. Rahul Sharma.

Petitioner No. 2 is also present through video conferencing mode and has been identified by his counsel, Mr. Ashok Kumar. 7.
The respondent No. 2 is also present in person and is identified by Investigating Officer Parveen, Police Station Malviya Nagar. 8.
Respondent No. 2 states that there was some misunderstanding between the parties, which has now been resolved and she does not wish to prosecute the F.I.R any further.

Since the petitioner No. 1 is a cancer patient at an advance stage and petitioner No. 2 is jobless and belongs to a poor strata of the society, I am refraining from imposing any costs.

Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure ends of justice. The Court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to be prosecuted any further. It is a fit case for quashing. In this view of the matter, there is no reason to continue the proceedings.

In this view of the matter, F.I.R No. 770/14 under sections 354/342/380 of IPC registered at Police Station Malviya Nagar and consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
