This joint application has been filed for disposing of the instant appeal in terms of settlement arrived at between the parties on 29th January 2025, with facilitation of Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre. The said settlement is placed on record. 2.

The Court has perused the settlement and finds the same to be lawful and acceptable. Settlement is signed by the parties and counter signed by their respective counsels.

The application is allowed and this appeal is accordingly disposed of in terms of settlement dated 29th January 2025. RFA 270/2023 1.

It is noted that by order dated 9th May 2023, the operation of impugned judgment was stayed by this Court, subject to appellant depositing 75% of the decretal amount which was to be kept in the form of an interest-bearing FDR.

Considering the settlement, appellant is entitled to withdraw the same from the Registry, along with up-to-date interest. The Registry is directed accordingly.
