% 20.02.2019 IA 2679/2019 Exemption allowed subject to all just exceptions. OMP(Misc.)(Comm.) 70/2019 This petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for the Arbitrator to pass the Award.

Counsel for the respondent who appears on an advance notice submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended by this Court.

Having perused the contents of the petition and no objection expressed by the respondent, the time for making of the Award by the Sole Arbitrator is extended by a further period of six months with effect from 09.10.2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs. Dasti.
