By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks an extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of six months for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 28.01.2024.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of one year from today. Further, the period lapsed from 28.01.2024 till date is regularised. 9.
