W.P.(CRL) 384/2020 Present writ of habeas corpus had been filed by the petitioner-father seeking production of his daughter-Ms. Shreya Shukla who had been missing since 3rd February, 2020.

Today Ms. Shreya Shukla has voluntarily appeared in Court along with her counsel Mr. Anupam Dwivedi. Ms. Shreya Shukla states that she has voluntarily married Mr. Amit Kumar Shukla, resident of House No. 3, Ward No. 1, Mavai Kathi, Deorimavai, Madhya Pradesh - 483440. Mr. Anupam Dwivedi, learned counsel for Ms. Shreya Shukla has handed over in Court a photocopy of the marriage certificate as well as one set of photographs of her marriage. The same are taken on record. We have spoken to Ms. Shreya Shukla in our chambers. She reiterates that she has married to Mr. Amit Kumar Shukla out of her own free will.

Since Ms. Shreya Shukla is a major and is not in unauthorised or illegal detention, present writ petition is disposed of as satisfied. At this stage, Ms. Shreya Shukla prays that the Investigating Officer be directed to drop her at the Delhi airport. Accordingly, the Investigating Officer is directed to ensure that Ms. Shreya Shukla is dropped at the Delhi airport today itself.
