After filing of the instant writ petition, the respondent-Corporation in terms of the order dated 22.04.2024, had extended an opportunity of hearing to the owner of the building in question and had passed an order under Section 343(1) of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957. 2.

It is thus seen that the respondent-Corporation in the aforesaid order, while considering the show cause notice, recorded that the construction in question is protected under the provisions of the National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Second (Amendment) Act, 2023 and the protection extends till 31.12.2026. The said order is not under challenge. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, no substantive relief can be granted in favour of the petitioner at this stage.
