O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition. However, he requests that the directions be issued for the expeditious completion of the trial. It is stated that fourteen prosecution witnesses have already been examined and only six witnesses remain to be examined. The next date before the Trial Court has been fixed for 11.05.2020.

In the circumstances, the Trial Court is requested to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible. It is directed that no unnecessary adjournments would be granted to the prosecution for producing the witnesses and the official witnesses shall be present on the date as directed by the Trial Court.

The petitioner is also at liberty to apply afresh if the trial is not completed within six months from today.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid observations.
