Mr. Jagjit Singh accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent says that he does not wish to file a reply as he does not oppose the prayer made in the petition for extension of time.

The record shows that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 05.05.2017.

I am informed by the counsel for the parties that after the expiry of statutory period of 12 months with mutual consent of parties, the time for concluding Arbitration proceedings was extended by a further period of 6 months.

It is the case of both the parties that even the extended time has come to an end. I am informed that the extended time came to an end on 31.01.2019.

Counsel for the parties inform me that the learned Arbitrator has reserved the matter for rendering an award.

Having regard to the time and money invested by the parties, I am inclined to extend the time for rendering the award till 30.04.2019. 10.

Thus, the period between 01.02.2019 and today shall stand regularised.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 12.
