The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the respondent/MCD be restrained from permitting the park in the area of Basti Hazrat Nizammuddin, New Delhi for the purpose of commercial, social or cultural activities.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that after the filing of this petition, requisite steps to develop the park have been taken by the MCD.

In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition. The same is accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
