The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.1086/2014 registered under Sections 323/506/509/377 IPC at PS Vasant Kunj (North). Status report is on record. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. By an order dated 19.01.2015, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then.

On 17.02.2016, the complainant had put appearance along with her counsel. She, however, did not appear to oppose the bail at subsequent date.

Status report reveals that both the complainant and the petitioner got married at Sri Venkateshwar Tirupati Balaji Mandir at BAIL APPLN. 113/2015

Jalandhar Cantt, Punjab on 27.09.2014.

Since the marriage was without the consent of the parents, the complainant and the petitioner filed a petition before the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh to seek protection.

It was granted vide order dated 01.10.2014.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of `50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
