CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT

O R D E R

% 26.02.2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby directing the respondents to provide the compulsory job services to the petitioner.

Vide order dated 22.02.2019, the notice was issued to the respondent no.1 and he was restrained to allot the seats of the petitioners to some other students.

For the post in question, counselling had taken place on 16.10.2018 and vide order no.24/18 dated 22.10.2018, the petitioners were also selected.

Accordingly, intimation to that effect had been given to the petitioner by the respondents on 24.10.2018 which fact has been admitted by the petitioner.

Thereafter on 29.10.2018, the petitioners sought extension of six months to join the post whereas on 24.10.2018 itself, the petitioners have submitted their willingness to join the place of deployment within 10 days from 16.10.2018 and also signed bonds to that effect. Since the petitioners have already submitted their willingness and signed the bonds, therefore, I found nothing wrong if the respondents have not considered their extension for six months which is highly unreasonable. In view of above, I find no merit in the present petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.

Interim order dated 22.02.2019 is vacated.

Pending application, if any, stands disposed of. Order dasti.

SURESH KUMAR KAIT, J FEBRUARY 26, 2019 ab
