Petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 23.03.2026 whereby his request for grant of parole has not been acceded to, primarily, for the reason that as per the rule position, there has to be a gap of four weeks between the last parole/furlough availed and the proposed one. 2.
It is now informed by learned counsel for the petitioner that such period of gap of four weeks is to expire on 03.04.2026 and, therefore, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, he does not press the present petition and submits that petitioner would file the fresh application on 04.04.2026 but since he is seeking parole/emergency parole to take care of his ailing wife, who has been advised heart surgery and is likely to be admitted in hospital on 06.04.2026, the competent authority may be requested to consider his such W.P.(CRL) 995/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. proposed request as expeditiously as possible. 3.
Learned Standing Counsel (Crl.) for the State assures that any such proposed request, keeping in mind the abovesaid reason, would be considered as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not seek any further relief at the moment.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as not pressed. 6.
Pending application also stands disposed of.
