The present Petition has been filed under Section 15(2) read with Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking appointment of a substitute Sole Arbitrator. 2.

It is noted that the earlier learned Sole Arbitrator, Hon'ble Mr. Justice Vijender Jain (Retd.), has unfortunately passed away. 3.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties submit that they are ad idem that the disputes be referred to a substituted Sole Arbitrator, who may proceed with the matter from the stage at which the previous learned Arbitrator had demitted office. 4.

that, in the interest of justice and to ensure expeditious adjudication of the disputes, it is necessary and expedient to appoint a substitute Arbitrator.

The total value of the underlying disputes is stated to be approximately Rs. 60 crores.

Accordingly, this Court requests Hon'ble Mr. Justice (Retd.) S.A. Bobde, Former Chief Justice Supreme Court of India, to enter upon the reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties. 7.

The present Petition, along with pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
