In view of the directions that I propose to pass, Ms. Dwivedi says that she will argue the matter based on the record. 4.

The limited prayer of the petitioner before me is that its appeal against the order of the Eastern Regional Committee (in short "ERC") dated 09.07.2016 has not been decided as yet. W.P.(C) 1497/2020

Mr. Sanjay Sharawat, who, appears on behalf of the petitioner says that if the appeal has been decided, there has been no notice served on the petitioners as to when the appeal was taken up for hearing.

Given these circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appeal Committee of the NCTE to decide the appeal within the next 10 days and in case the appeal has already been decided, it will furnish a copy of the same to the petitioner within three days of the receipt of the copy of the order. 7.
