The present application under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act seeks following prayers:- "a) Accept the unconditional and unqualified apology tendered by the respondent/contemnor;

b) Take a lenient view in the matter of sentence, in light of the respondent's bona fide remorse and cooperation; and c) Pass such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

Vide order dated 13.10.2025 the respondent was held guilty "civil contempt" as defined in Section 2(b) of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. 4.

In pursuance of the order dated 10.11.2025 passed during the pendency of the proceedings the petitioner and respondent has entered into a settlement which has been placed on record.
