This application has been filed seeking modification of the bail condition as imposed by this Court in judgment dated 21st October 2024, granting bail to petitioner.

It is stated that petitioner has been in custody for more than 3 years and is not in a condition to furnish a surety of Rs.1 lakh, therefore, seeks some accommodation in that regard on humanitarian grounds as well as guidelines by the Supreme Court in Re: Policy Strategy for Grant of Bail, SMWP(Crl.) No .04/2921.

In these circumstances, this Court is inclined to accommodate the petitioner considering the period of custody, and reduce the surety required The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. to Rs.50,000/-.

Accordingly, bail conditions, as contained in paragraph 30 of the said judgment, stand modified to the extent that petitioner be released on bail on furnishing a Personal Bond in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to satisfaction of the Trial Court. Rest of the conditions of said paragraph 30 shall remain the same.
