W.P.(CRL) 402/2020 This is a petition filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking parole for a period of two weeks on the ground of marriage of niece of the petitioner, namely, Monika, which is to take place on 21.02.2020.

Issue notice. Ms. Shivani Shamra, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the State..

It is submitted by learned counsel for the respondent that State has verified the factum of marriage of niece of the petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is admitted to parole for a period of one week from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety in like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. He shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent on the expiry of the parole period.

Petitioner shall also file marriage photographs with the Jail Superintendent.

The petition stands disposed of.
