This petition is filed seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 55/2023 under Sections 420/406/468/467/471 IPC registered at Police Station Uttam Nagar.

The Court on 16th May 2024, on basis of the submissions made by counsel for petitioner and complainant, had referred the parties to mediation in order that they settle their inter se issues. 3.

earnest money by complainant to the petitioner's daughter on promise of transfer of a property transacted for Rs.6.5 lakhs. 4.

Investigation is still underway; photocopies of documents have been provided to the IO; other documents are still to be recovered for which the IO has issued summons.

Counsel for petitioner states that they will cooperate in the investigation and to express their bona fides, state that they are willing to deposit Rs.30,000/- with the Registrar General of this Court within a period of next 2 weeks. The said amount shall be kept in form of an interest-bearing FDR.

As regards the balance amount, counsel for the petitioner states that they will deposit the same with the Registrar General of this Court, within next 4 months. The said balance amount shall also be also kept in form of an interest-bearing FDR.

It is stated that the petitioner will cooperate in the investigation and appear before the IO as and when summoned by him. 8.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25, 000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/IO/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join investigation as and when directed, provide relevant documents as sought by IO, and not influence any witness/complainant/victim or tamper with evidence of the case.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
