This is a contempt petition filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:

"a) Take cognizance of the present application and initiate proceedings for Civil Contempt against the Respondent NO 2 under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971; b) Issue notice to the Respondent NO 2 to show cause as to why they should not be held guilty of committing contempt of this Hon'ble Court for willfully and deliberately disobeying the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

It is the case of the petitioner that despite the order dated 04.02.2026, passed in W.P. (C) 1573/2026, interest has been charged from the petitioner. 3.

For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 4.

Mr. Raj, learned standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and tenders unconditional apology. He states that the respondent has the highest possible regard for the dignity and majesty of the orders passed by this Court.

He further states that the interest was charged on account of an inadvertent error and the same has been subsequently rectified and the amount will be reverted within 1 week from today. 6.
