The Office has reported delay of days in filing the accompanying Appeal and further delay of 23 days in re-filing the same. 2.

Heard the learned Counsel for the Appellant and perused the Application, being CM No.19269/2026, seeking condonation of delay. 3.

The Judgment under challenge in the present Appeal was rendered by the learned Single Judge on 21.04.2023 in W.P.(C) No.1910/2010. The only ground mentioned in the Application seeking condonation of delay of 1019 days is that the Appellant is the sole bread-earner of the family and having lost his job, he went on litigating the matter for some time, but for want of money, could not take it to the logical conclusion. It is also stated that the Appellant has no money for self-sustenance and is keeping bad health. 4.

The Application, in our considered opinion, does not disclose any cogent reason whatsoever, much less sufficient reason, explaining the exorbitant delay of 1019 days in filing the present Appeal. The Appellant has attempted to arouse the sympathy of this Court, however, the reasons indicated in the Application are not found to be sufficient.

Accordingly, the Application seeking condonation of delay of 1019 days is rejected.

Resultantly, the Appeal as well as the pending Application(s) are also dismissed.
