% 11.12.2017 The petitioner is an Assistant Professor and has been teaching on adhoc basis for almost 16 years in different colleges of Delhi University. At the time when she joined as an Assistant Teacher, the eligibility criteria was 50% in M.A. with 55% in M.Ed. and NET. On 28.11.2014, National Council of Teachers Education published a notification in the Government Gazette whereby the required percentage in almost degree was raised from 50% to 55%. Aggrieved by the aforesaid notification dated 28.11.2014, the petitioner approached this Court by filing the present writ petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner appeared in M.A. examination secured more than 55% marks and hence at this stage, she does not want to press this petition

with leave to approach this Court again in case respondents do not consider the case of the petitioner for regular appointment. Accordingly, the writ petition and C.M.APPL1938/2015 are dismissed as not pressed. Leave as prayed is granted.
