The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning the cancellation order dated 21.08.2018, whereby the FPS-5826 authorization issued to the petitioner was cancelled. It is stated that the petitioner has already filed an appeal before the Commissioner, Food and Supplies Department, Government of NCT of Delhi impugning the said order in terms of Rule 6 of the Delhi Specified Articles (Regulation of Distribution) Order 1981. Although, the said appeal was filed as early as on 07.09.2018

the same has not been heard.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of by directing the concerned Appellate Authority, the Commissioner, Food and Supplies Department, Government of NCT of Delhi to decide the petitioner's appeal as expeditiously as possible and in any event not later than six weeks from today.

The pending application is disposed of.
