The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents for providing protection as they apprehend harm at the hands of the family members of petitioner no.1 (respondent nos. 5 to 8).

The petitioners state that they are currently residing at the residence of petitioner no.2 (F-3-785, Sangam Vihar, Delhi-110062). 3.

Mr Lao, learned ASC states that on the basis of the information received from the petitioners, the SHO had conducted necessary inquiries and had also provided the petitioners the mobile number of the beat staff who can be contacted in case of any eventuality. He states that respondent no.6 (father of petitioner no.1) was also called to the police station and he has stated that he has no objection to the marriage of the petitioners.

In view of the above and considering the averments made in the petition, the SHO, PS Tigri is directed to evaluate the threat perception and provide the petitioners such security as he considers necessary. 5.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
