The FIR in question is of the year 2019 and the mere request made by the petitioner, who is complainant, is to the effect that the investigating agency be directed to file Final Report under Section 193 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), in a time-bound manner. 2.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel (Crl) appears on advance notice and admits that there is already delay in the matter but on the basis of the instructions received from the I.O., he submits the final report shall be positively filed by first week of April, 2026. 3.

In view of the abovesaid assurance, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press for any further relief, at the moment. 4.
