Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement on 28.08.2024. Consequently, the respondent has, in accordance with the terms of the settlement, withdrawn the suit which had been filed against the appellant. He, therefore, has instructions not to press the present appeal any further.

The appeal is, consequently, dismissed as not pressed. All interim orders stand vacated.
