Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 66/2018 of Police Station Domestic Airport for offence under Section 509/354A IPC and the proceedings arising out of the same on the ground that parties have compromised the dispute.

The petitioner as well as complainant de facto have appeared through video conferencing and are identified by the IO/SI Munni from Police Station Domestic Airport as well as by counsel for both parties. It is contended by both sides that strictly speaking, no offence is made out, but in the overall interest of both parties, they have settled the dispute. I have spoken with both the parties and they do not wish to take the matter further through trial.

Having spoken with both the parties, I am satisfied that it would not be in the interest of justice to push them through trial. 6.

Therefore, the petition is allowed and consequently, FIR No. 66/2018 of Police Station Domestic Airport for offence under Sections 509/354A IPC and the proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Pending application stands disposed of.
