Issue notice to the respondents.

Ms. Arunima Dwivedi accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

In view of the order that I propose to pass, Ms. Dwivedi says that she will argue on the basis of the record presently available. 4.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that despite a compliance communication [qua the Letter of Intent (in short "LOI")] being filed by it with the Northern Regional Committee (in short "NRC") which was the concerned Regional Committee at the relevant point in time as, far as back on 20.09.2019, there has been no movement in the matter.

It is the petitioner's case that between September, 2019 and January, 2020, despite several meetings being convened by the NRC, the petitioner's application was not been picked up for consideration. 6.

To be noted, the principal relief that the petitioner claims is that its application for the B.A.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed course should be considered.

This application was filed way back on 30.05.2016 qua the then academic session 2017-2018.

I may also indicate and this is something that Ms. Dwivedi also does not dispute that after the issuance of NCTE's Gazette notification dated 27.01.2020, the jurisdiction vis-à-vis the petitioner's application now vests in the Western Regional Committee (in short "WRC") on account of the location of the petitioner institute. 9.

Given the aforesaid circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the WRC to deliberate upon and dispose of the petitioner's application as per law in its next meeting, that is, proposed to be held keeping in mind that the cut-off date for the academic session 2020-2021 is 03.03.2020.
