2. The Appellant is aggrieved by an order dated 10th December 2018 whereby his WP(C) 10283 of 2017 challenging an order dated 1st October 2010, compulsorily retiring him from the services by the Respondent No.2 College was dismissed by the learned Single Judge.

3. The dismissal of the writ petition was essentially on the ground that the Petitioner offered no convincing explanation for the inordinate delay in approaching the Court for relief. His statutory appeal against the order of compulsory retirement was dismissed way back on 19th February 2011. The

explanation offered by the Petitioner was that the order dismissing his appeal was communicated to him only on 5th February 2017 pursuant to an application filed by him under the RTI Act.

4. Having heard learned Counsel for the Appellant, this Court finds no reason to interfere with the order of the learned Single Judge. Indeed, even now the Appellant has no credible explanation for the inordinate delay of over seven years in approaching the writ Court for relief.

5. The appeal is dismissed.
