This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "(a) time bound direction to Respondent No.2; to change update / correct in its record, the name of Petitioner Institution from "Shri Vaishnav College of Teachers Training" to the "Shri Vaishnav Institute of Education" (Department of Education of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya); and (b) consequent direction to the Respondent No.2;

to communicate the Revised Recognition Order to the Petitioner with its proposed name i.e. the "Shri Vaishnav Institute of Education" (Department of Education of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya) ..."

Ms. Malhotra, learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions states that the respondents shall decide the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2025 (Annexure P-12 with the petition). In this view of the matter, it is directed that the respondents shall decide the representation of the petition dated 10.12.2025 expeditiously and in any case not later than six weeks from today, in accordance with extant rules and guidelines.
