Case Nos. 23325/16 and 23324/16 filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and pending before the learned M.M.-03, North West, Rohini, Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present complaint cases pertain to cheques issued in the year 2016 and eight years have since passed and that the trial is still pending. He further states that request for expeditious and day-to-day hearing of the matters was made before the Trial Court however, the same was declined on account of workload. 3.

A perusal of the paper book would show the complaint case pertains to the year 2016. The trial court is requested to consider the petitioner's request for an expeditious hearing, if day-to-day hearing is not possible. 4.

Both the above-noted petitions are disposed of with the above observation. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
