HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANUP JAIRAM BHAMBHANI

% 25.03.2026 The matter has been received by way of the Supplementary Listing having been mentioned to Hon'ble the Chief Justice. By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks extension of interim bail that was granted vide order dated 19.02.2026 in BAIL APPL. No.131/2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits, that the interim bail granted to the petitioner is expiring tomorrow i.e. 26.03.2026. However in light of the view taken by this court in Jatin vs. The State NCT of Delhi in BAIL APPL. No. 3418/2024, the plea for extension of interim bail is not maintainable by way of a fresh bail petition but ought to be filed by way of the CM Application in the bail petition in which relief was first granted.

In view thereof, the present petition is not maintainable and is disposed-of as such.

Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed-of. BAIL APPLN. 1201/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 30/03/2026 at 16:45:11

However, in view of the difficulty expressed by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is granted time until Monday i.e. 30th March 2026, to surrender back to custody.
