% 20.12.2017 A further status report has been filed in terms of the last order. The query posed by the Court on the last date has been answered in this status report. It is disclosed that Urmila in her interrogation conducted on 10.04.2017 stated that 5-6 months ago Madan Lal - the petitioner, met her and told her that he was informed by someone that the missing person Sona had got married with some other person, and also had a child from that person. The endeavour to verify this fact from the relatives of Sona did not

result in any confirmation. Several relatives of the missing person and the three suspects named by the petitioner, have all been examined. Unfortunately despite reasonable efforts, the missing person has not been located.

In these circumstances, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the State to continue with its investigation. The petitioner shall be kept informed of the further development in the investigation on monthly basis. In case the petitioner derives any further information, which may help to locate the missing person, he may provide the same to the Police. The leads so provided shall be looked into with all seriousness by the Investigating Officer.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. VIPIN SANGHI, J P.S.TEJI, J DECEMBER 20, 2017 B.S. Rohella
