The petitioner as per the gazette notification dated 12.03.2020 is appointed as the Chairman of the Dispute Redressal Committee of East Delhi Municipal Corporation ("EDMC") and North Delhi Municipal Corporation ("DMC") under the Delhi Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending Rules, 2017). 2.

It appears that on account of unification of EDMC and North DMC and their merger in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") by way of the amendment made in Delhi Municipal Corporation Act (Amendment) 2022, the erstwhile corporations become non-existent. 3.

With respect to aspect of the remuneration is concerned, paragraph no. 5 of MCD affidavit is extracted as under: "5 . 19 lock down and the sa me was extended up to 07.12.2021 by UD Department, GNCTD. Further pursuant to the directions issued by the Urban Development Department, GNCTD , an online portal for the registration of left out street vendors was also launched on the 18.02.2022 for survey of left our street vendors ." 4.

It however, is left open to be further considered by the MCD. If the petitioner has discharged services, he shall be entitled for appropriate remuneration.

Let the appropriate representation be made to the MCD and if the representation is made, the same be decided with due expedition. 6.

All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 7.

The instant petition along with pending application stands disposed of.
