Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent no.2 Ms. Lalita Sharma is present in Court and accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Om Veer Singh of police station Ranhola. Learned APP submits that co-accused Anil Kumar has not been made a party in the petition. On the oral prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, co-accused Anil Kumar is impleaded as respondent no. 3. Amended memo of parties be filed during the course of the day. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners and respondent no. 3 of her own free will and without any undue

force, pressure or coercion, vide a Memorandum of Understanding dated 18th February, 2019. Respondent no. 2 says that she has no objection in case FIR No. 324/2013 under Sections 323/354-A/509/34 IPC registered at Police Station Ranhola and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners and respondent no. 3. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 to this effect is also on record. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
