None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called out. 2.

Learned counsel for respondent no.1/Delhi Jal Board ("DJB"), submits that a bill dated 28th May, 2024 of ₹ 8,080/-, is due and payable. He further submits that if the owner/occupier of the property in question pays the amount, the water connection shall be granted by the DJB. 3.

At this stage, learned counsel for respondent no. 3 submits that respondent no. 3 is owner of the property in question. She submits that there is a dispute between the respondent no. 3 and the petitioner, and that there is also a decree against the petitioner, and that the petitioner had forged the signatures of the owner of the property in question. 4.

Accordingly, it is directed that the petitioner shall pay the amount as demanded by the DJB. aforesaid by the petitioner to the DJB, DJB shall take immediate steps for supplying water connection in the property in question. 5.

It is clarified that the mere fact that this Court has directed supply of water connection to the property in question, will give rise to no equity in favour of the petitioner or any right or title over the property in question. 6.

It is further clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion as regards the rights of the petitioner, or legality of the occupation by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition, along with pending application, is disposed of.
