The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No.0243/2016, under Section 3(1)(x)(xiv) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 registered with PS Mundka and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed. 3.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 is present in the Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. Respondent no. 2 states that he has since resolved all his disputes with the petitioner and does not wish to pursue the FIR in question. He

further states that the FIR in question was filed in view of some misunderstanding that had arisen between him and the petitioner. 4.

The petitioner is present in the Court and is identified by his counsel. He confirms that he has resolved all his disputes with respondent no.2. 5.

The petitioner and respondent no.2 are neighbours and state that FIR had been filed in view of certain heated arguments exchanged between the two parties. Both, the petitioner and respondent no.2, are senior citizens and have since resolved all their disputes.

In view of the statements made by the petitioner and respondent no.1, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. 7.

Accordingly, FIR No.0243/2016, under Section 3(1)(x)(xiv) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 registered with PS Mundka and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
