Present appeal has been filed challenging the judgment dated 20th December, 2018, whereby the writ petition filed by the respondent was partly allowed, insofar as the appellant was directed to return the bank guarantees furnished by the respondent on the ground that there was no default by the respondent.

Admittedly, during the pendency of the proceedings, the bank guarantees furnished by the respondent have expired by efflux of time. 3.

Keeping in view the aforesaid fact that the bank guarantees have expired and the fact that the respondent has filed a suit for recovery, the present appeal is disposed of as infructuous. The question of law is left open.
