This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "(a) quashing of the Rejection Letter dated 23.12.2025 issued by the Inspection Committee of the Respondent board, whereby it has rejected the Application of Petitioner School submitted for upgradation of affiliation up to Senior Secondary Level; and (b) quashing of Rejection Letter dated 23.02.2026 issued by the Review Committee of the Respondent Board, whereby it has rejected the aforesaid Application of the Petitioner School submitted for upgradation of affiliation up to Senior Secondary Level; and (c) direction to Respondent Board/its Committees to reconsider the Application of the Petitioner School The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. submitted for upgradation of its Affiliation up to the Senior Secondary Level;

taking into account the documents submitted by the Petitioner School, in support of its said Application...;"

Mr. Manish, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner school is paying the minimum wages as prescribed by law. 3.

Ms. Singh, learned counsel for the respondent, states that the petitioner is required to pay the salary as per Central Pay Commission ("CPC")/ State Government Norms and the pay scales paid by the petitioner are short of those norms. Hence, the affiliation cannot be granted.

Mr. Manish, learned counsel, states that the petitioner will revise the pay scales to comply with the CPC / State Government Norms and will make a fresh representation within 10 days from today. 5.

Once a fresh representation is made, the respondent shall examine the same afresh in accordance with its extant rules and regulations. 6.

The respondent shall give the chart of applicable pay scales, CPC and state government norms. In case the pay scales are falling short of the prescribed minimum norms of the State Government/ CPC, the respondent shall inform the petitioner in writing before rejecting the affiliation.

With these directions, the petition is disposed of. 8.
