CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANMOHAN
O R D E R
% 20.01.2017 Present writ petition has been filed by the employees of respondent no. 1 for a large number of reliefs. However, learned senior counsel for the petitioners confines his prayer to a direction to respondent no. 4-DDA to take appropriate action in accordance with law for cancellation of lease deed in respect of Guru Harkishan Public School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi and lease deed dated 11th April, 1997 in respect of premises bearing no.G-8 Area, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi on account of violations/breaches of the said lease deeds.
Learned senior counsel for the petitioners relies upon the showcause notices dated 23rd February, 2011, 4th March, 2016 and 23rd November, 2016 to contend that the same are not being deliberately dealt with.
Issue notice.
Mr.Sanjeev Sabharwal, standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent no.4-DDA.
Keeping in view the limited relief sought by learned senior counsel for the petitioners, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.4-DDA to adjudicate upon the show-cause notices dated 23rd February, 2011, 4th March, 2016 and 23rd November, 2016 within a period of six weeks in accordance with law. The petitioners are also given liberty to institute appropriate proceedings in accordance with law with regard to the other reliefs sought in the present writ petition.
This Court, however, clarifies that it has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the show cause notices. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open. MANOHAN, J JANUARY 20, 2017 KA
