The limited relief sought by the petitioner in the present case is that the respondent no.1 be directed to dispose of the case bearing no. 689/2023 titled as "Waryam Singh Chawla vs. Trilochan Singh Chawla". 2.

It is submitted that the pendency of the said matter is causing grave prejudice to the petitioner inasmuch he continues to be harassed by his elder son (respondent no.2 herein and opposite party in the aforesaid case no. 689/2023).

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1, who appears on behalf of the District Magistrate, submits that the aforesaid case bearing no. 689/2023 shall be decided within a period of two weeks from today. The said statement is taken on record.

In view thereof, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition; the same is accordingly disposed of.
