The present application is filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking grant of regular bail in FIR 542/2018 dated 04.09.2020 registered at Police Station Jaitpur for offences under Sections 365/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

It is pointed out that the Bail Application being BAIL APPLN. 4347/2023 filed by the co-accused was disposed of by an order dated 23.02.2024 passed by this Court wherein, this Court had noted that on that date only one witness remained to be The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. examined and the Additional Public Prosecutor for the State had assured that the said witness would appear before the learned Trial Court on the next date of hearing.

This Court, after considering the fact that the trial is at a fag end, and the State has assured that only one witness remained to be examined, who would appear before the learned Trial Court on the next date of hearing, had not entertained the bail application of the co-accused. The learned Trial Court was also requested to expedite the trial.

In view of the above, this court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present bail application at this stage. 7.

Since the court by order dated 23.02.2024 in BAIL APPLN. 4347/2023 has requested the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial, no separate order is required to be passed in this present application.
