Vide the present petition, petitioner prays as under: a. To direct the respondents to issue official communication regarding the petitioner's joining as Havaldar as 'meritorious sportsman' under the scheme of the Mission Olympics Programme under the aegis of the Directorate General of Military Training (DGMT); b. To direct the respondents to ascertain I to inquire in to the reason of non-communication of 'joining' and issue direction for initiating appropriate directions for disciplinary proceedings against the erring official;

c. To direct the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioner for inordinate and unreasonable delay along with the exemplary cost in the favour of the petitioner for causing illegal harassment and mental agony.

aforesaid relief(s), petitioner has already given legal notice dated 01.02.2023 to the respondents, however, till date, no response has been received from the respondents.

In view of above, we hereby direct the respondents to take a reasoned decision on the abovementioned Legal Notice within four weeks from today and communicate the decision thereof to the petitioner as well as to his counsel within one week thereafter.

With the aforesaid directions, the present petition as well as pending application stand disposed of.
