This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Tax Invoice dated 23.11.2018.

The learned Arbitrator entered into the reference on 15.02.2022. The mandate of the learned Arbitrator was, thereafter, mutually extended on 14.04.2023 for a period of six months. completion of proceedings and passing of the award. 3.

Mr. Ravi Ranjan, learned counsel, appears on advance notice on behalf of the respondent, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

I am informed that the proceedings are at the stage of final arguments.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed, and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of six months w.e.f., 28.01.2024.
