This petition has been filed with the following prayers: "(i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to cover the services of the Petitioners under the ambit of Old Pension Scheme in terms of the OM dated 03.03.2023 and 09.04.2024 (ii) Pass any such orders as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the light of above mentioned facts and circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn our attention to Annexure P-22, wherein this Court in an identical writ petition had directed the respondents to consider this writ petition as a representation and decide the same by a speaking and reasoned order.

If that be so, for parity of reasons, we allow this writ petition directing the respondents to consider this writ petition as a representation and decide the same by a speaking and reasoned order, keeping in view the documents and grounds in the writ petition including Office Memorandums dated 03.03.2023 and 09.04.2024, issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.

The exercise shall be carried out within a period of twelve weeks from today. It goes without saying, if the petitioners have any grievance on the order to be passed by the respondents, liberty is with the petitioners to approach the Court in accordance with law.
