Mr. Chandra, learned counsel, on instructions apprises the Court that pursuant to the steps initiated in terms of Section 143(2) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 ["Act"], the assessment has been completed with no additions having been made in the Return of Income, as submitted.

In that view of the matter, we are of the considered opinion that the writ petition is rendered infructuous. It shall accordingly stand disposed of as such.
