Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.469/2015 registered under Section 363 IPC at Police Station Roop Nagar. It is stated that the age of respondent No.3 was 18 years at the time of lodging the FIR. It is further informed that both the petitioner and respondent No.3 have since been W.P.(CRL) 194/2018
married and living together as husband and wife. They have a child born out of this wedlock.

Respondent No.2 and 3 are present with their counsel and have been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from the them if the matter has settled with the petitioner amicably without any fear or pressure. They have informed that all the disputes between the parties have been resolved amicably with their free consent and they have no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question. 3.
The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy of Memorandum of Understanding/settlement agreement dated 16.01.2018 has been placed on record. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice, FIR No.469/2015 registered under Section 363 IPC at Police Station Roop Nagar and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. 4.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
