By this petition the petitioner seeks directions to the SHO, PS Prashant Vihar to provide protection to the petitioner against respondent No.2. Case of the petitioner is that the respondent No.2 is making unauthorized construction and when the petitioner complains against the same, petitioner and his family members are threatened. 2.
A Status Report has been filed by the State indicating that a number of complaints have been filed inter se the parties in the year 2016. Both the petitioner and respondent No.2 are neighbours and make regular complaints against each other. As regards illegal construction being carried out at the house of respondent No.2, information in this regard was given by the police W.P.(CRL) 189/2018
to the MCD whereafter the illegal construction has been demolished on 8th March, 2017. On the complaint of wife of respondent No.2, FIR No.73/2017 under Section 354(A) IPC has already been registered at PS Prashant Vihar.

In the entire petition, there is no material to show that there is any apparent apprehension of threat to the life of the petitioner and the apprehension, if any arises, because of the mutual disputes between the two parties for which complaints and cross-complaints are being regularly filed. As per the Status Report, Division Officer and beat staff have been briefed appropriately and their contact numbers have also been provided to the petitioner. Contact numbers of the Division Officer and the beat staff have also been provided to learned counsel for the petitioner today in Court. 4.
In view of the contact numbers of the Division Officer and beat staff having already been provided to the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition.

Petition is disposed of.
