W.P.(C) 1769/2020 This petition primarily seeks recalculation and payment of due pension apropos the services rendered by Mrs. Amarjeet Kaur Sachdeva, the deceased wife of the petitioner. It is the petitioner's contention that her last drawn monthly salary with dearness allowance was about Rs 85,852/- and her contribution was of such a nature that she should be paid far more than a meagre amount of Rs. 2,132/- as monthly member pension and family pension of Rs. 1,066/-. It is for the respondents to look into the records and
address the grievance of the petitioner.
Since the relief, at the moment, is primarily sought against respondent no. 1, issue notice to respondent no. 1.
The learned counsel named above accepts notice on behalf of respondent no .1 At joint request, the petition is taken up for disposal. In view of the above, this writ petition shall be treated as a representation of the petitioner to respondent no. 1, who shall take a decision in the matter within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
Should the petitioner be required to submit any further documents or information, the same shall be supplied to respondent no. 1 by the petitioner within two weeks from the date of receipt of such intimation from respondent no. 1.
The petition is disposed-off in the above terms. It will be open to respondent no. 1 to seek information from respondent no. 2, if it is deemed so necessary. NAJMI WAZIRI, J FEBRUARY 17, 2020 AB
